Daniel McCormick Appointed CAO for the RRDSSAB

Fort Frances, Ontario – 2012/21/02 – 8:30   The Rainy River District Social Services Administration Board (RRDSSAB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel McCormick as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) effective February 20, 2012.

“It was encouraging to see the quality and experience of the individuals who expressed interest in joining our organization”, noted Board Chair Ross Donaldson.  “The Board wanted an individual capable of guiding our organization into the future and Mr. McCormick has the personal and professional qualities the RRDSSAB is seeking. Mr. McCormick’s previous work experience with the RRDSSAB as Interim CAO and Health Services Manager, his commitment to the Rainy River District, along with his knowledge of our strengths and areas of future improvement attracted us to him.”

In his role, Mr. McCormick will be responsible for directing the RRDSSAB with an annual budget exceeding $15 million.  “I am excited to take on this new role.  We have a dynamic team and there are many important initiatives underway including development of a strategic plan.  My first order of business will be to sit down with the Board and senior management to carefully review our organization and map out a game plan moving forward,” says McCormick.
